A community's war heritage offers huge scope for
research, by anyone from primary school children to veterans. War
memorials, memorabilia, letters, diaries, photographs are all historical
objects which can be "read" for insights into the past.
The proposals suggested here are only a few ideas
as to how to use war heritage materials, including those on this
site, as the basis for research projects. Many more ideas will come
to mind, as you consider your own community's war heritage.
